It is with deep regret that I must announce that I will be retiring from the Carp fishing side of Extrema Fishing Spain. I have however found someone suitable and capable of taking over Carp fishing tours on the Orellana.

Guided Carp fishing WILL BE AVAILABLE from Sept 2018 as Pat Harrison, 46, will be here to take over.

Pat has a vast experience of fishing huge European waters, including the likes of Lac de Salagou, lac du der Chantecoq and the Ebro, he has spent many years searching for that ‘special water’  and 10 years ago he found it, the magnificent Orellana.
He even has an impressive UK PB of 59.8lb (genuine English fish) and I have total trust in Pat that he can provide the professional and honest service that I have done for the last 15 years of guiding on the Orellana.

Over the last 3 years, I have had severe back problems and have not promoted the carp fishing, only really catering for our regular groups (Dutch lads 9 years). Since the last carp anglers in November I have been struggling and cannot risk my health with all the lifting of equipment, tackle, bait etc

I will be assisting him in a less physical capacity, such as advice on the guiding, paperwork, legal side etc until such times he is totally competent at running it himself, which I am sure won’t take long.

The website will have a much needed updated soon  www.extremafishingspain.com
All’s not lost for me, as I am still guiding for Barbel and running the Predator Fishing what is really picking up.
Tight lines, Craig Reid.
